The SF Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) convened three dozen elected, civic, and Jewish leaders from San Mateo County for the #HereIAm press conference. We stood together in solidarity against antisemitism and hate with Congressman Kevin Mullin celebrating our community’s diversity and strength.
I shared my great grandfather's story and my family's legacy of social justice work that continues through my public service. The test of leadership is to stand up in solidarity and hold each other accountable to our values in both our words and actions.
